As the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Eve, the skies above Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong will be transformed into a magnificent spectacle of light and darkness, presenting an awe-inspiring musical fireworks display.
This 12-minute extravaganza will showcase various forms of nature through spectacular fireworks effects, embodying the theme of "The Symphony of Happiness" and conveying wishes for prosperity.
The firework show will shine with four remarkable effects, introducing a never-before-seen feature for Hong Kong that will light up the Victoria Harbor skyline. Let's welcome 2025 in unison with people from across the globe.
Various vantage points will be available along Victoria Harbor, many fitted with audio systems to broadcast soundtracks of the firework musical. Here are a few suggested vantage spots where you can fully enjoy the show.
Hong Kong Island:
● Central Waterfront (adjacent to Tamar Park)
● Golden Bauhinia Square, Wan Chai
● Wan Chai Temporary Promenade (adjacent to HarbourChill)
● East Coast Park Precinct, North Point
Kowloon:
●Hong Kong Cultural Center, Tsim Sha Tsui
● Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade (adjacent to Kowloon Shangri-La)
● Avenue of Stars, Tsim Sha Tsui
● West Kowloon Cultural District
Extensive road closures will be implemented from 6 p.m. on the day of the event. Spectators are advised to take public transport and arrive at the designated locations early.
